About
This blog started in April 2010 as a way to vent my thoughts.
As for now, the blog contains random rantings on things that interest me from a professional point of view including topics such as Microsoft products, .NET coding, Natural User Interfaces (NUI’s). etc.
As for myself, here a quick and dirty copy-paste from my LinkedIn profile:
Currently I teach software development topics (C# flavor) and network security issues at the Technology: Electronics-ICT department at Artesis University College of Antwerp.
Previously I gave lectures on multimedia (image/audio/video compression, security , etc.) and worked on a (unfinished) Phd on Digital watermarking in images at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Before all that I started my career as a researcher in a Belgian government-funded project on wireless networks, dubbed WLAN IDEAS. I was mainly focused on the (in)security aspects of WLAN, which is still a bit one of my favourite topics to teach about (it was Bart Preneel (COSIC,KUL) I think who once said: “teaching on the security of Wifi (WEP) is like teaching how not to implement security”).
My full resume can be found here.

Hi Tim,
I was really impressed by your WP7 content on this blog and I was wondering if you’d want to talk to me about possibly featuring your content on Windows Phone 7 Zone on DZone.com, where I am a community leader.
Send me an email and I can tell you more.
Best,
Mitch
